Baptism and Confirmation

Baptism

Baptism is an important part of the Christian faith. If you have a link with any of the four parishes, are a regular worshipper at one of the churches, or want to find out more about the Christian faith, we would welcome a discussion with you about the possibility of baptism, for yourself or your child.

Baptism of Children - helping your child to set out on the Christian journey

The arrival of a new baby is a time of joy and celebration. This new life is a gift from God. The Baptism Service is one means of  publicly celebrating the excitement and joy at the birth of a baby.

Baptism is also an acknowledgement that there is more to life than the physical and material, and that human beings have worth and value not determined by age, race, sex, or talents, but by God's love for us.
